Anamika will mark Anant Mahadevan?s first in the trilogy series

After directing two films ? Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar and Dil Maange More, Ananth Mahadevan finally tasted success with Aksar that was tagged as the first hit of 2006. Post Aksar there were speculations that he would be making a sequel to the film. But Ananth confirmed that it?s not a sequel but a series that he is planning. The next episode in the series was titled Agar starring Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.

Hyder Ali walks out of Deepa Ka Tarannum

Son of Taahir Hussain and step brother of Aamir Khan, Hyder Ali Khan has walked out of the film Deepa Ka Tarannum, which also had Preeti Jain in the lead cast. Chandni Bar maker to start Gauri

Elahe Hiptoola dubbed for Gul Panag

SRK will do a guest appearance in ‘Bhootnath’

Don enters Malaysia PM?s Office

No takers for Big B’s Bhojpuri film ‘Ganga’

Mumbai, September 23, 2006 - While Amitabh Bachchan starrers in Hindi sell for nothing less than Rs 4 crore, the Big B’s first Bhojpuri film, Ganga, is still awaiting buyers. The only territory sold so far is the Delhi-UP one.
According to the industry grapevine, the producer Bachchan’s make-up man Deepak Sawant initially demanded a price of Rs 85 lakh for the film because it has Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini making appearances in it.

UTV head new president of Film and TV Guild

Sushmita Sen is an all-rounder. We all know she is an extremely talented person. Not only can she act very well, she can paint with equal 鬡n. Recently, Sushmita Sen painted a painting called Ibaadat and she put it for auctions to raise money for charity.
But the price that the painting fetched is phenomenal. She sold her painting for Rs 25 lacs. But Sushmita being the extremely nice human being she is, she donated the money to former Pakistan cricketer, Imran Khan?s cancer hospital in Pakistan. Well, keep it up Sushmita.

Censor problems with Woh Lamhe?

Woh Lamhe which is slated to release on the 29th of September is under Censor scrutiny. According to our sources, there are some objectionable scenes in the movie which need to be edited and hence the problem.
?Right now I cannot say much but yes we are facing Censor problems. We need to send a few documents to the Censor Board to sort this out?, said producer Vishesh Bhatt.
